About this blog

We created this blog to enable Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) professionals working on transformational digital projects in the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and other government departments, to connect with each other, share their news and to collaborate.

Here you will find posts from all of the digital delivery teams from across the MOD – from Defence Digital (formerly the Information, System and Services or ISS), the Royal Navy (RN), the Army, the Royal Air Force (RAF) and other government departments.

The aim is to build awareness and consistency across the department and to help DDaT professionals, to learn and collaborate to do the MOD’s digital work.

The Defence Digital blog will highlight some of the most innovative and fascinating digital transformation work taking place in the MOD today.

We hope that our blog posts will inspire others who have digital, data and technology skills, to help us to solve the problems we face.

If you would like to share your work on this blog, please contact the MOD defence digital blog editor to get the conversation started.
